Max Albertz beoefent HEMA inmiddels bijna tien jaar. Hoewel hij zijn reis begon met het langzwaard, werd hij al snel gegrepen door de elegantie en precisie van de rapier. Zijn studie startte bij Giganti, maar de afgelopen jaren richt hij zich vooral op het werk van Capoferro.

Al vijf jaar deelt Max zijn passie als rapierinstructeur binnen zijn club.

Zijn benadering combineert historische nauwkeurigheid met praktische toepassing: het begrijpen van de , het verfijnen van techniek, en het strategisch inzetten ervan tijdens sparren en toernooien. Met zijn analytische blik en liefde voor detail weet hij theorie en praktijk naadloos samen te brengen.

Max Albertz has been practicing at HEMA for almost ten years now. Although he began his journey with the longsword, he was quickly captivated by the elegance and precision of the rapier. His studies began with Giganti, but in recent years he has focused primarily on the work of Capoferro.

For five years, Max has been sharing his passion as a rapier instructor within his club.

His approach combines historical accuracy with practical application: understanding the , refining technique, and strategically deploying it during sparring and tournaments. With his analytical eye and attention to detail, he seamlessly blends theory and practice.
